 Prerequisites

  • You must be the Zoho CRM's super admin.

  • Zoho CRM Enterprise edition or higher is required.

  • You must either already have a TWILIO account or create one.

Benefits of Twilio

  • Easily validate the Number.

  • CRM Sends a signal after validation of the Number.

  • Checking number validations automatically and manually.

  • There is an option while installing the extension if you processed that number validation will automatically be processed or you can use a button as well, if not only the button will work which you've to do manually every time.

  • There is an option to insert the default country code.

How to install Twilio

Steps involved to install "Twilio Phone Number Verification":

Open Zoho CRM and go to the marketplace

Search for the "Twilio Phone Number Verification" keyword and click the install button.

 

 

 

 

While installing the extension there is a pop-up will appear on the screen. In that window you have to paste the "Twilio Account SID" and "Twilio Auth Token" which is given by "Twilio" and type "Y" or "N" in the "Number Auto Validation" option and insert the country code.

 


Number Auto Validation: This option will help you to validate the Number automatically without pressing any button in the modules.

 

How to find the Account SID and Auth Token:

Sign up with Twilio, if you haven't already otherwise log in to your account.

 

 

If you're a Twilio account you can log in to the account.

 

 

 

Go to the console and you'll find the Account SID and Auth Token.

 

 

 

 

 

After installing the extension there is a pop-up appears on the right bottom of the screen in CRM as the extension was installed successfully.

 

 

 New fields were added in the Leads and Contacts module in CRM

 

  1. Phone Reason - This field is updated in JSON format. It will show;

            Valid: It says "Valid" or "Invalid" whether the number is valid or not.

           Number: It shows the given number

            National_Format: It shows the number with country code, for ex: 09876543201.

            Country_Code: It shows the country code for ex: "IN".

             Mobile_Country_Code: It represents the mobile country code

             Mobile_Network_Code: It shows the current state of the mobile network code.

            Mobile_Network_Name: It shows which network you are using for ex: "JIO".

             Type: It shows the type of phone type for ex: "Mobile"

                                    

  1. Phone Status - It shows the number whether it is "Valid" or "Invalid".

  2. Mobile Reason - This field is updated in JSON format. It will show;

          Valid: It says "Valid" or "Invalid" whether the number is valid or not.

          Number: It shows the given number

           National_Format: It shows the number with country code, for ex: 09876543201.

           Country_Code: It shows the country code for ex: "IN".

           Mobile_Country_Code: It represents the mobile country code

           Mobile_Network_Code: It shows the current state of the mobile network code.

           Mobile_Network_Name: It shows which network you are using for ex: "Idea".

          Type: It shows the type of phone type for ex: "Landline"

  1. Mobile Status - It shows the number whether it is "Valid" or "Invalid".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are two types of buttons inserted in CRM, they are: View page and List View - Each Record

 

 

 


How to validate Numbers with Buttons

View Page Button:

 

     In this type, the button shows on the view page on CRM. It will work in both ways. When you choose option "Y" while installing then it is automatic validation, on that time also the button will work and another is manually when you didn't choose the Auto validation.

 

 

 

 

  

 List View - Each Record:

The List View - Each Record will show for each record in the CRM. It will work in both ways. When you choose option "Y" while installing then it is automatic validation, on that time also the button will work and another is manually when you didn't choose the Auto validation.

 

 

 

 

 

                              

 

 

This is the sales signal which appears in CRM. You can notice the status of the validation of all numbers by clicking the bell icon.
