Prerequisites
- You must be the Zoho Recruit's Admin.
- Zoho Recruit Standard edition or higher required.
- You need to have an account with Springverify. If you do not have one, please reach out to sv.sales@nexivo.co or Call/WhatsApp +919868329081.
- This extension can be used to conduct background checks for Indian citizens of the Indian demographic only.

The extension automates the background verification process, reducing the time and effort required to conduct the checks manually.

- The candidate's information and verification request details are automatically transferred from Zoho Recruit to SpringVerify, eliminating the need for manual data entry. In a related list titled "SpringVeify Candidate Report," you may view the candidate's status in the record itself.

How to install the BGV from SpringVerify for Zoho Recruit
Open Zoho Recruit and go to the marketplace
Search the "BGV from SpringVerify for Zoho Recruit" keyword and click the install button.
Create OAuth Authorization
Need to select the production option.
Accept the terms and proceed with the further process.
Please insert the SpringVerify API token from the SpringVerify Account.
How to find the API key token in SpringVerify Account,
Open
SpringVerify Account, go to profile click on settings tabs, and click on
API. If you already generated the API token copy the below API or generate the New API Token.
New Modules and Fields were added to Zoho Recruit
In the Candidate Module, we added two new fields and a related list. In this module only we have to initiate the Background Verification by using the button "Initiate SpringVerify BGV ."

SpringVerify Candidate Report is the related list that is placed under the related list. It shows the verification status of the candidate instantly without going to the parent module.
Module Name: SpringVerify BGV Report
In this module, you can observe the reports of the candidates after the background verification is initiated and know the status of the verification by using the button "Fetch SpringVerify BGV."

Process of the SpringVerify Background Verification
Depending on the packages you select, the background check process from SpringVerify will take place. There are some identities based on the packages that will verify the candidates.
You have the option of using an existing candidate or creating a new one to begin the verification process. You must verify that the applicant has given you their name, contact information, and email address. You were unable to continue with the verification if any of the aforementioned information was missing.
You can choose the packages you want to verify on the candidate by clicking "Initiate SpringVerify BGV." You should choose any of the packages you would want, be aware of the checks that are accessible for that specific package, and be aware of how many units are still in the package.
Choose the package from the aforementioned image that corresponds to the candidate you want to verify.
You can observe in the image above that the package you choose displays all the checks that were included and the remaining units.
After pressing the "initiate" button, it shows that "Background Verification Initiated for <Candidate_FullName> Successfully."
You can observe in the image above that after initiating Background Verification you can notice that the SpringVerify Candidate ID (SVID) will be created and you can observe the package name you selected for the respected candidate.
The image above indicates the candidate will be automatically added to the SpringVerify BGV Report module after the verification is started. You can examine the verification status by clicking the record, and any fields that pertain to the verification will be updated.
The image above indicates that when you press "Fetch SpringVerify BGV," a pop-up window will come up and show the status of the verification. When you press the "Fetch SpringVerify BGV" button, the status of the verification is determined based on the verification.
The image above indicates that when you press the "Fetch SpringVerify BGV" button, the BGV status will change from "Pending" to "Awaiting Input." Based on the Verification Stages, the "BGV Status" will be updated.
Verification Errors
If you submitted the invalid SpringVerify API after installing the extension. Then you can store the API before initiating the Verification by clicking the "Initiate SpringVerify BGV" Button.
The above image indicates that if you inserted the wrong SpringVerify API, you can reinsert it here, and you can directly go to the API page by clicking "Generate API Key" to check the API Key.
The above image indicates that when you insert the wrong API key, it will show an inline error in the widget.
The above image indicates that when the API key is valid, this pop-up will appear after hitting the connect button.
When the phone number of the candidate already exists, you will get an inline error, as shown in the above image.
When the email of the candidate already exists, you will get an inline error, as shown in the above image.
When SpringVerify Candidate ID (SVID) exists for the respected candidate the Background Verification will not Initiate, it will show the error as the above image.
