Warning

Prerequisites

  1. You must be Bigin's Super Admin.
  2. Bigin Premier Edition or higher is required.
  3. You must either already have a RAZORPAY account or create one.
  1. Seamless Payment Collection: Enables businesses to collect payments directly from customers through Bigin using Razorpay, simplifying the process of managing transactions
  2. Automated Payment Links: Allows users to generate and send payment links directly from Bigin to customers via email or SMS, enabling quick and easy payment collection.
  3. Real-time Payment Tracking: Automatically tracks the status of payments within Bigin, providing real-time updates and reducing manual effort.
  4. Payment Reconciliation: Integrates payment data with Bigin, ensuring accurate reconciliation of payments with customer records and invoices.

Steps to install "Razorpay Payment Link for Bigin"

  • Open Bigin and go to the Setup.

  • Go to Toppings > Marketplace > All Toppings. All the installed toppings are listed under Installed; you can view all the toppings supported by your Bigin.

  • Browse the "Razorpay for Bigin" and click the install Continue.

 

 

  1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
    1. Install for admins only - The topping will only be installed in Bigin for Users with the administrator profile.
    2. Install for all users: The topping will be installed in Bigin for all users.
    3. Choose Profiles. The topping will be installed in Bigin for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles. The topping will be installed automatically for specified users.
    4. Click on Confirm.

  

Setting up OAuth authorization

  1. To authorize, click on the "Authorize" button
  2. Click on "Connect" to access the Zoho Services
  3. Choose the service you want to install and submit it
  4. Click on the "Accept" button to allow DRE IDC to access data in your Zoho account
  5. Then the connector will connected

 

Generate API key secret ID in Razorpay Account

  1. Go to the Dashboard in Razorpay and in Products, go to Accounts and Settings
  2. Click on "API keys."
  3. Click the Generate Test Key to get the secret key ID.
  4. After generating the API test key, a pop-up will appear on the screen.
  5. Copy the "Key Id" & "Key Secret" in the Razorpay account and download the key details.

 

 

 


Paste the copied "Key Id" & "Key Secret" in Bigin extension setting

 




  1. A popup with Successful Webhook Created populates.

  • After installing the extension, you will get a pop-up at the bottom of the screen for the topping installed successfully in Bigin.

New fields have been added to the Contacts Module

  1. Go to Deals Module in the Bigin
  2. New fields have been added, named below. 

Razorpay Link ID

This field generates the payment ID through Razorpay by calling the API and updating in Bigin. 

Razorpay Status

This field shows the payment status of the payment. Ex: If the payment link is created, the payment status will update as "Created.". Like Statuses Listed as "Paid," "Cancelled," or "Refund.processed." It calls Razorpay through API and updates the statuses. 

Razorpay Order ID

The field shows the Order ID 

Razorpay Paid Amount

The field shows the amount received from the customer paid via RazorPay.

Razorpay Refunded Amount
 The field shows the amount that has been refunded to the customer

 

 

Usage of Buttons in Bigin

  • The buttons created in the deals module and invoice module are listed below: 

Send Razorpay Payments Link

This button sends the fresh payment  link through Razorpay by calling API from Bigin

Resend Payment Link

This button resends the payment link if a customer didn't receive the link or ignored it. 

Cancel Payments Link

By clicking this button, you can cancel the payment link that you sent to the customer.

 

  • After clicking the Send Razorpay Payments Link, a pop-up will appear on top of the screen.

 

 

  1. The pop-up displays the following information:
    1. Total Amount: The amount value
    2. Select Currency
    3. Also, a Partial Payment option is available for the client to send the payment in installments with minimum value
    4. Click on "Send Payment Link."
  • After clicking the "Send payment link" button, the fields will update automatically, as shown in the image.

 


 

Payment Process

  • The payment link will be sent to the customer by either mail or text message. 

  • Then you will be redirected to the payment page. You can pay via UPI's, credit cards, debit cards, or net banking.

  • After completion of payment, the payment status will be updated automatically in the Bigin as shown in the below image.

 

 

  • The payment status is shown as Full Paid after the completion of payment.

  • If you cancel the payment link by clicking the "Cancel Payment Link," then the status will be shown as canceled.

 

  1. After clicking the "Cancel Payments Link," the payment status will change to "Cancelled" in Bigin.

 

 Refund Process

  • Open the "Razorpay Account" and then go to the dashboard
  • On the left side of the screen, go to Products, click the "payment links," and then the payment reports get opened.

  • Choose the record to whom you want to refund the payment and once check the record ID in Bigin also.


  • It shows the payment status of the customer and shows how much amount the customer paid you.

  • Click the link "View Payment Details" from screenshot shown in dashed lines 

  • After clicking the link, the refund window will open, and the status will show as issue refund, as in the image below.

 

 

  • Click the issue refund button, then the refund page will open. Type the refund amount paid by the customer and send the refund.


  • Then the status will change from paid to refund.

  • The status will change to refunded in Bigin through API.

  • After initiation, the Razorpay payment link will be updated to "Refund Processed."
