Prerequisites

  • You must be the Zoho CRM's super admin.

  • Zoho CRM Enterprise edition or higher is required.

  • You must either already have a Plivo account or create one.

  • Easily validate the Number.
  • CRM Sends a signal after validation of the Number.
  • Checking number validations automatically and manually.

  • There is an option while installing the extension if you processed that number validation will automatically be processed or you can use a button as well, if not only the button will work which you've to do manually every time.

  • There is an option to insert the default country code.

How to install Plivo Phone Verification

Steps involved to install "Plivo Phone Verification":
Open Zoho CRM and go to the marketplace

Search the "Plivo Phone Verification keyword and click the install button.

 


 

 


 

While installing the extension there is a pop-up will appear on the screen. In that window, you have to paste the Auth ID and Auth Token which is given by "Plivo" and type "Y" or "N" in the "Auto Validation" option and insert the country code.

 

 


 

 

Auto Validation: This option will help you to validate the Number automatically without pressing any button in the Leads and Contacts modules.

 

How to find the Auth ID & Auth Token:

Open Plivo Account if you have one otherwise, create a new account.

 


Click on the View console then you will be redirected to the below image.

 

You will find the Auth ID & Auth Token in the above image.

 


After installing the extension there is a pop-up appears at the right bottom of the screen in CRM the extension was installed successfully.

New fields were added in the Leads and Contacts module in CRM

  1. Phone Reason - This field is updated in JSON format. It will show;

           Phone Number: It shows the given phone number.

           Type: It shows the status of whether it is mobile or landline.

           Carrier: It shows the network provider.

           Mobile Country Code: It shows the country code of the mobile network provider.

           International: It shows the number in international format.

           Name: It shows the country name of the mobile located.
                                        
  1. Phone Status - It shows the number and whether it is valid or not.

  2. Mobile Reason - This field is updated in JSON format. It will show;

             Phone Number: It shows the given phone number.

             Type: It shows the status of whether it is mobile or landline.

             Carrier: It shows the network provider.

              Mobile Country Code: It shows the country code of the mobile network provider.

             International: It shows the number in international format.

             Name: It shows the country name of the mobile located.                           
  1. Mobile Status - It shows the number and whether it is valid or not.   

 

 


 

 

The button was inserted into the view page.


How to validate Numbers

There are two types of validations they are:
1)Automatic Validation
2)Manual Validation

1) Automatic Validation:
     In this type, following installation, a settings widget will appear where we must select "Y" for Number Auto Validation. The phone or mobile number will automatically validate after generating Leads or Contacts.






2) Manual Validation

     In this type, the button is shown on the view page on CRM. It will work in both ways. When you choose option "Y" while installing then it is automatic validation, on that time also the button will work and another is manually when you didn't choose the Auto validation.







This is the sales signal which appears in CRM. You can notice the status of the validation of all numbers by clicking the bell icon.
