Prerequisites

  1. You must be Zoho Bigin's Super Admin.
  2. Zoho Bigin Premier Edition or higher required.

How to install "Phone Verification for Zoho Bigin"

To install the "Phone Verification"
1. Go to Toppings > Marketplace > All Toppings.
        All the installed Toppings are listed. under Installed, you can view all the toppings supported by your Bigin.
2. Click All Toppings browse for, and click "Phone Verification for Zoho Bigin."
        Details about the toppings will be available.
 3. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Install.



1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
  1. Install for admins only - The topping will only be installed in Bigin for Users with the administrator profile.
  2. Install for all users - The topping will be installed in Bigin for all users.
  3. Choose Profiles - The topping will be installed in Bigin for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles. 
               The topping will be installed automatically for specified users.



While installing the topping there is a pop-up will appear on the screen. In that window insert the default country code and enable the checkbox for auto validation.




Setting up OAuth authorization

  1. To Authorize click on the "Authorize" button
  2. Click on "Connect" to access the Zoho Services
  3. Choose the service you want to install and submit it
  4. Click on the "Accept" button you allow DRE IDC to access data in your Zoho account
  5. Then the connector will connected

How to verify the Phone/Mobile numbers in the Contacts Module with and without button

Without Button
First, create a new contact, then enter the required fields including the Phone/Mobile numbers, and save it. If the "Auto Validation" checkbox was enabled during installation, the validation will take place automatically without a need for a button; otherwise, you must manually complete the validation by clicking the button. After saving the contact, refresh the page. The fields "Phone Verification Status," "Phone Verification Message," "Mobile Verification Status," and "Mobile Verification Message" will then be updated based on your selection.



With Button

The button located in the Contacts Module is used to validate Phone and Mobile Numbers. When you click the "Validate Phone/Mobile" button, a widget will appear displaying either both "Phone and Mobile Numbers" or "Phone Number or Mobile Number" depending on your selection, along with their verification status and API quota. Once the verification is completed, the fields "Phone Verification Status," "Phone Verification Message," "Mobile Verification Status," and "Mobile Verification Message" will be updated in the record after closing the widget.
