Prerequisites
- You must be Zoho CRM's super admin.
- Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition or higher is required.
- It will verify details related to Indian passports.
Key Features of "Passport Verifier"
- Allowing users to verify the authenticity of passports directly within their CRM system. This helps businesses ensure that the passport details provided by their customers or leads are valid and genuine.
- Utilizes real-time data from the passport authority to verify the passport information. This ensures that the verification process is accurate and up-to-date, providing businesses with reliable results.
- Eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces chances of errors or inconsistencies. Eliminates the need for switching between multiple platforms and streamlines the verification process.
- Leads and contacts will be verified by a passport verifier either automatically or manually.
- Verifies up to 1000 Passport details per month, verifies up to 20 Passport details for a trial version.
How to install "Passport Verifier for Zoho CRM"
To install the Passport Verifier.
1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
All the installed extensions are listed. under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.
2. Click All Extensions, browse for, and click "Passport Verifer for Zoho CRM."
Details about the extensions will be available.
3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now."
If you choose "Start a free trial", you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Install.
1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
- Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for Users with the administrator profile.
- Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
- Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles.
The extension will be installed automatically for specified users.
There are two options to purchase the extension, you can purchase "Monthly" or "Annually" based on your needs.
A pop-up will show up on the screen during extension installation. The "Passport Auto Validation" option validates the Passport details automatically in both the Leads and Contacts modules.
After installing the extension you'll receive the pop-up at the right bottom of the screen shown below.

Passport File Number: This field represents the file number of the Passport.

Passport File Number: This field represents the file number of the Passport.

The button will manually examine each Passport Detail to see if it was sent separately. There are two ways it can operate. When you install by enabling the checkbox, validation is automated; at that point, the button will also function. If you didn't enable "Passport Auto Validation", validation is done manually.
Leads Module
Without a Button:
If the "Passport Auto Validation" checkbox was enabled during installation, the validation will take place automatically without the need for a button; otherwise, you must manually complete the validation by clicking the button.
With Button:
The button that is present in the Leads Modules must be used in this approach to Verify the Passport details. When you click the "Passport Verification" button, a widget will appear where you can view the "Status", "Passport Name", "Message", and "API Quota." Once the Passport details have been validated, if you want to update the record, check the box, and click "Update"; otherwise, click "Close" to exit the widget.
Without a Button
If the "Passport Auto Validation" checkbox was enabled during installation, the verification will take place automatically without the need for a button; otherwise, you must manually complete the validation by clicking the button.
With Button:
The button that is present in the Contacts Modules must be used in this approach to Verify the Passport details. When you click the "Passport Verification" button, a widget will appear where you can view the "Status", "Passport Name", "Message", and "API Quota." Once the Passport details have been validated, if you want to update the record, check the box, and click "Update"; otherwise, click "Close" to exit the widget.
