Prerequisites

  1. You must be the Zoho CRM's Super Admin
  2. Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition or Higher required.

Key Features of "Masked Aadhaar"

  1. Custom Field Integration: A dedicated custom field named "Upload Aadhaar" allows users to easily upload Aadhaar images or PDF files directly into Zoho CRM.
  2. Seamless Masking Process: Once the Aadhaar is uploaded, users can simply click the "Mask Aadhaar" button to automatically mask sensitive Aadhaar details (e.g., the first 8 digits).
  3. Automated Attachment: After masking, the masked Aadhaar is automatically saved and attached to the "Attachments" related list in the Leads module, ensuring quick access without compromising data security.
  4. Enhanced Privacy Compliance: The masking feature helps maintain compliance with privacy regulations by securely processing Aadhaar details before storing them in the CRM.
  5. Simplified Workflow: The entire process, from Aadhaar upload to masking and attachment, is integrated within the CRM, streamlining data management and minimizing manual effort.
  6. Data Security: Ensures that only masked Aadhaar files are stored in the CRM, reducing the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive information.

How to install the "Masked Aadhaar for Zoho CRM"

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace  > All.
      All the installed extensions are listed here. Under All extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.
2. Click All Extensions, browse  for, and click "Masked Aadhaar for Zoho CRM."
     Details about the extension will be available.
3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now".
    If you choose "Start a Free Trial" you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click "Install."



1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
  1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for users with the administrator profile.
  2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
  3. Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles.
        The extension will be installed automatically for specific users.



There are two options to purchase the extension, you can purchase "Monthly" or "Annually" based on your needs.



Setting up OAuth Authorization with Zoho

  1. To begin, you need a Zoho developer account.
  2. To authorize the account press the authorize button.


  1. Select the connector to authorize and submit it.




By clicking the "Accept" button you allow Aadhaar Masking to access data in your Zoho account.

To mask Aadhaar details, use the button available in the Leads module. Upon clicking the "Mask Aadhaar" button, a pop-up will display the verification status and the "API Quota." Once the Aadhaar details are masked, the masked Aadhaar can be viewed in the attachments section.
