Prerequisites

  1. You must be the Zoho CRM's super admin.
  2. Zoho CRM Professional edition or higher is required.
  3. It verifies Indian GSTIN (Goods and Services Tax Identification Number) information.

Key Features

  1. Validate up to 1000 validations per month and 20 validations for a trial version.
  2. Easily validate and retrieve GSTIN Details.
  3. You can validate or retrieve the GSTIN manually by using a button.
  4. You can validate GSTIN in the Leads, Accounts and Vendors module.

How to install GSTIN Validation 

Steps involved in installing "GSTIN Validation":
Open Zoho CRM and go to the marketplace.
Search for the "GSTIN Validation for Zoho CRM" keyword and click the install button or if you want to try it go with the free trial version which is valid for up to 10 days.







After installing the extension you'll get a pop-up at the right bottom of the screen shown below.



New fields have been added to the Leads, Accounts, and Vendors Modules

   Company Type: This field will show the type of company like "Private Limited Company" or "Public Limited Company" etc.
   GSTIN Status:  This field will show the status of the GST whether this GST is "Active" or "Inactive".
   GSTIN taxPayer Type:  This field will show the type of taxpayer.
   Company Registration Date: This field will show the registration date of the company.
   GST Number:  This field will show the GST number.



How to Validate the GSTIN Details 

After installing the extension you will get the new fields that were added to your Leads and Accounts module, which are mentioned above.

After creating the record in either Leads or Accounts you have to validate manually using the button. 
Button Name: "GSTIN Validation".



After clicking the button, the widget will appear, and the GST number against the provided location. Using the principal address or other addresses, you may then update the address. You may see your overall API credit balance, remaining credit balance, and consumed credit balance in this widget.



You must select the update lead or update account after choosing the address.





You will see a pop-up after updating the leads or accounts letting you know that the record was successfully updated.



If you used up all the credits, a pop-up as seen in the image below will appear when you try to validate your GSTIN number.
