Prerequisites

1. You must be Zoho CRM's Super Admin.
   
2. Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition or higher is required.
   
3. It will retrieve information related to Indian vehicle registrations.

Key Features of "Fetch Vehicle Registration"

1. Fetch vehicle registration data automatically by entering the licence plate number. This eliminates manual data entry and saves time for the CRM users.
2. You can access the information in the Leads and Contacts module by clicking the "Fetch Vehicle Registration" button.
3. You will receive a document with vehicle information, which will be allocated to the Attachment in the related list.
   
4. Generates insightful reports on vehicle registration data, helping businesses identify trends, optimze processes, and make data-driven decisions.
   
5. Fetches up to 100 Vehicle Registration Details per month, fetched up to 10 Vehicle Registration Details for a trial version.
   

How to install "Fetch Vehicle Registration for Zoho CRM"

    1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.

        All the installed extensions are listed. under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.

    2. Click All Extensions,  browse for, and click "Fetch Vehicle Registration for Zoho CRM."

        Details about the extensions will be available.

    3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now."

        If you choose "Start a free trial", you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."

    4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Install.

1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:

1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for Users with the administrator profile.
   
2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
   
3. Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles. 
   

           The extension will be installed automatically for specified users.

There are two options to purchase the extension, you can purchase "Monthly" or "Annually" based on your needs.

After installing the extension you'll receive the pop-up at the right bottom of the screen shown below.

New fields have been added to the Leads and Contacts module

How to fetch the vehicle registration details in the Leads and Contacts module with a button

Leads Module

With a button

The button that is present in the Leads Modules must be used in this approach to fetch the Vehicle Registration details. When you click the "Fetch Vehicle Registrations" button, a widget will appear where you can view all the registration details of the respected vehicle. Once the registration details have been fetched, if you want to add the details as an attachment in the related list, mark the check box, and click "Update"; otherwise , click "Close" to exit the widget. You can view the vehicle registration details in the "Attachments" related list.

Contacts Module

With a button

The button that is present in the Leads Modules must be used in this approach to fetch the Vehicle Registration details. When you click the "Fetch Vehicle Registrations" button, a widget will appear where you can view all the registration details of the respected vehicle. Once the registration details have been fetched, if you want to add the details as an attachment in the related list, mark the check box, and click "Update"; otherwise , click "Close" to exit the widget. You can view the vehicle registration details in the "Attachments" related list.
