Prerequisites

  • You must be Zoho Bigin's super admin.

  • Zoho Bigin Enterprise Edition or higher is required.

Key Features of Email Verification for Zoho Bigin

  1. This extension automatically verifies email addresses as they are entered into the system and quickly flags them as valid or invalid.
  2. Easily verify the recipient's email addresses.
  3. Email Verification for Zoho Bigin offers real-time Verification, which ensures that email addresses are accurate before they are committed to the system.
  4. Choose whether your email verification will be automatically processed. You can also do this manually with a button.

How to install "Email Verification for Zoho Bigin"

To install the Email Verification Extension

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
   All the installed extensions are listed. Under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your Bigin.
2. Click All Extensions,  browse for, and click "Email Verification for Zoho Bigin."
   Details about the extensions will be available.
3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now."
   If you choose "Start a free trial", you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Install.



1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
  1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in Bigin for Users with the administrator profile.
  2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in Bigin for all users.
  3. Choose profiles - The extension will be installed in Bigin for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles. 
               The extension will be installed automatically for specified users.



A pop-up will show up on the screen during extension installation. The "
Email Verification
" option verifies the Emails automatically in Contacts modules.




After installing the extension, you'll receive a pop-up at the bottom right of the screen as shown below.



New fields have been added to the Contacts module

Result: This field indicates whether the email address entered is valid or not.
Message: This field updates the status of whether the Email exists or not.



The button will manually examine each email to see if it was sent separately. There are two ways it can operate. When you install by enabling the checkbox, Verification is automated; at that point, the button will also function. If you didn't enable Auto Update Email Verification, Verification is done manually.



How to verify the Emails with the button

With Button:

The button that is present in both the Leads and Contacts Modules must be used in this approach to verify the email. When you click the "Email Verification" button, a widget will appear where you can view the "Email," "Status," "Message," and "API Quota." Once the email has been verified, if you want to edit the record, check the box, and click "Update." Otherwise, click "Close" to exit the widget.
