Prerequisites

  1. You must be Zoho CRM's super admin.
  2. Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition or higher is required.
  3. It verifies the details of the Indian Business PAN (Permanent Account Number).

Key Features of "Business PAN Validator"

  1. Validate PAN details entered in Zoho CRM against the official PAN database. This ensures that the PAN numbers entered are correct and valid.
  2. Provides real-time verification of PAN details, allowing you to instantly validate PAN numbers without any delay. Helps in preventing data entry errors and ensures accurate information in your CRM.
  3. You can validate or retrieve the PAN details either automatically or manually. Eliminates fake and duplicate identities.
  4. Validate up to 1000 Business PAN validations per month, validate up to 20 Business PAN validations for a trial version.

How to install "Business PAN Validator for Zoho CRM"

To install the Business PAN Validator.

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
        All the installed extensions are listed. under All Extensions, you can view all the extensions supported by your CRM.
    2. Click All Extensions browse for, and click "Business PAN Validator for Zoho CRM."
        Details about the extensions will be available.
    3. Click "Start a free trial" and "Buy Now."
        If you choose "Start a free trial", you'll get a trial period for an extension of 10 days. After the trial period expires, you have to purchase the extension, or else you can purchase the extension directly by choosing "Buy Now."
    4. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Install.



1. Choose one of the following, then click Confirm:
  1. Install for admins only - The extension will only be installed in CRM for Users with the administrator profile.
  2. Install for all users - The extension will be installed in CRM for all users.
  3. Choose Profiles - The extension will be installed in CRM for manually chosen users. Choose this option, click Confirm, and then select the desired profiles. 
               The extension will be installed automatically for specified users.



There are two options to purchase the extension, you can purchase "Monthly" or "Annually" based on your needs.



A pop-up will show up on the screen during extension installation. The "Auto Validation" option validates the Business PAN details automatically in both the Leads and Contacts modules.



After installing the extension you'll receive the pop-up at the right bottom of the screen shown below.



New fields have been added to the Leads and Contacts module

Business PAN Number: This field will show the PAN number of the Business.
Business Name: This field will show the Name of the Business.
Business Details: This field will show the details of the Business.



The button will manually examine each Business PAN Detail to see if it was sent separately. There are two ways it can operate. When you install by enabling the checkbox, validation is automated; at that point, the button will also function. If you didn't enable "Auto Validation", validation is done manually.



How to validate the Business PAN in the Leads and Contacts module with and without the button

If the "Auto Validation" checkbox was enabled during installation, the validation will take place automatically without the need for a button; otherwise, you must manually complete the validation by clicking the button.



With Button:
The button that is present in both the Leads Modules must be used in this approach to validate the   Business PAN details. When you click the "Business PAN Validator" button, a widget will appear where you can view the "Business PAN Number", "Business Name", "Date of Issue", and "API Quota." Once the Business PAN details have been validated, if you want to update the record, click "Update"; otherwise, click "Close" to exit the widget.












Contacts Module

Without Button:
If the "Auto Validation" checkbox was enabled during installation, the validation will take place automatically without the need for a button; otherwise, you must manually complete the validation by clicking the button.



With Button:
The button that is present in both the Leads Modules must be used in this approach to validate the Business PAN details. When you click the "Business PAN Validator" button, a widget will appear where you can view the "Business PAN Number", "Business Name", "Date of Issue", and "API Quota." Once the Business PAN details have been validated, if you want to update the record, click "Update"; otherwise, click "Close" to exit the widget.
