Open Zoho CRM, Go to the marketplace.
Search for the "ActiveCampaign Connect for Zoho CRM" keyword and click the install button or if you want to try it go with the free trial version which is valid for up to 10 days.
After installing the extension you have to authorize the connector to sync the tags directly from ActiveCampaign.
After you'll be redirected to the widget settings, you can see the widget with the Base URL and API Key. After activating the details you'll get a sync option to which modules you want to sync the details. If you don't know how to find the Base URL and API key in ActiveCampaign, click on the
symbol to know where the Base URL and API Key are located.
If you want to change the Base URL and API Key you can edit them by clicking the
icon which appears on the widget settings. You can know the status of the sync whether the ActiveCampaign was synced or not by showing "Pending" and "Activated". If the status is showing as "Pending" the ActiveCampaign was not synced with Zoho CRM, if the status is showing as "Activated" the ActiveCampaign is synced with the Zoho CRM.
Here you can sync Leads and Contacts modules with both Zoho CRM and ActiveCampaign. Even you can sync the tags which are already existed for the leads and contacts module. After submitting the sync details you'll get a sales signal in Zoho CRM, signal shows the count of the synced contacts from both Zoho CRM and ActiveCampaign.
By synchronizing the ActiveCampaign and Zoho CRM, you can collect and store the data in both Zoho CRM and ActiveCampaign. There are two types to sync the data
- One-way sync.
- Two-way sync.
1. One-way Sync: In one-way sync, you can sync the data from Zoho CRM to ActiveCampaign or ActiveCampaign to Zoho CRM. You can collect and store the data in either Zoho CRM or ActiveCampaign.
2. Two-way Sync: in two-way sync, you can sync the data from Zoho CRM to ActiveCampaign and ActiveCampaign to Zoho CRM. You can collect and store the data in Zoho CRM and ActiveCampaign.
If any contact is added to Zoho CRM the system will throw a notification to a sales signal shown below
There are two ways to add or remove the Mailing List and Tags, which will happen in the Automation process and Manual Process
Automation Process:
If you want to add or remove a Mailing List and Tags you have to create workflows in which module you want to. You can create workflows in both the Leads module and the Contacts module, in both of the workflow rules, we have created custom action functions by using those functions you can add or remove Mailing Lists and Tags.
Based on your workflow conditions the Mailing List or tags will add or remove with respect to the contact. You can select multiple Mailing Lists and Tags to add or remove by using the
key. Press & hold the
key and choose to add or remove the Mailing List and Tags. Those Mailing Lists or Tags will replicate in ActiveCampaign.
If you want to add new Mailing Lists or Tags you can directly add them from the custom action widget by pressing the "+" icon which is beside the Mailing Lists and Tags multi-select dropdowns and then press submit button.
Manual Process:
In this process, we can add or remove the mailing list and tags manually by using the button on the "View Page" in the Leads and Contacts module. By selecting multiple records on the page you can add or remove the mailing list and tags in the same window and you will be notified through a sales signal.
Here you can add or remove the Mailing lists and tags manually by using a button named "ActiveCampaign Actions" after choosing the mailing lists and tags you have to submit the actions, then a pop-up will appear on the screen as "Action is being processed. Please wait, the signal will show under the notification".
After that submission, you'll be notified of the signal as shown below
